=====Running PARIS on Mac OS9=====

PARIS runs solidly and smoothly on Mac OS9. Some considerations:

1) PARIS cannot run in "classic" mode (OS9 emulation) under OSX; the Mac must be able to *boot* into OS9
2) It's probably a good idea to update OS9 to the latest version before discontinuation ([[http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75186 OS 9.2.2]]).

I'm running 3 EDS cards at the moment in a Magma 13 slot expansion chassis with 2 MECs w/ 2 8-in cards, 1 8-out and 2 ADAT cards in MEC A and 2 8-In/1 8-out in MEC B.  In my system Card A is SubMix 1, Card C is SubMix 2 and Card B is SubMix 3, a configuration arrived at by trial and error!
